Ten year old Colin can't sleep.

For five nights in a row, he's been woken up by the monster that lives in his closet.

He hasn't seen the monster yet, and he's not sure he wants to either. His parents have been going crazy to get him to fall asleep - but nothing has worked.

On this particular night, however, it just happens to be a full moon, and Colin quickly finds out that his toy chest has become something of a transmogifier that turns some of his favorite toys into life-sized people.
